Player: Jey “Bun-Bun” Connors |
Position: Support |
Coaches Notes: Jey joined the team in our phase of recruitment. He’s on the quiet side and is easy to work with. Currently, he has good synergy with the other members of Moon Fox. Unfortunately, he’s often on the receiving end of Julie (Spear) angry outbursts. I have hope they’ll learn to get along but there are several obstacles. Currently, he doesn’t live with the other main members so they’ve been somewhat slower to get along with him since he first joined.
The main issue to try and fix is his poor mental health. His depression, low self-esteem, and anxiety has been known to affect his gameplay at times. Most frequently, during and following an incident with Spear. Jared (Marvelous) in particular has taken to trying and help on this front. At best, progress has been slow. But progress is progress. As long as he can keep his moods in-check, something he seems capable of when Moon Fox is acting in perfect synergy, he remains our best Support player.

Energy Shield

Secondary |
Stun Baton

Barrier Generator

Unique 2 |
Stun Grenade

Coaches Notes: Jey is by no means our first pick to be a Tank. But when playing a Tank, he has a style that leans towards a Tank/Support hybrid build. Stunning the enemy for his teammates and using the Barrier Generator for Area-of-Effect protection in team fights. At best he’s an Off-Tank and shouldn’t be on the frontlines.
Damage Loadout

Humanoid (Male Tinbran)

Primary |
Sniper Rifle

Secondary |
Twin Handgun

Unique 1 |
Grenade

Unique 2 |
Neurotoxin
|
Coaches Notes: Damage Class is by far Jey’s weakest point. Probably why he picked playing as a Sniper. Generally trying to stay as far away from the action as possible. Even the Neurotoxin was picked to try and be a Support type while still dealing Damage. Maybe useful on certain maps but only as a last resort.
Specialist Loadout

Colsaran (Male)

Primary |
Silenced Handgun

Secondary |
Proximity Mine

Unique 1 |
Repair Device |
Unique 2 |
Hacking Device |
Coaches Notes: Easily Jey’s second best class. He’s not as good as Cory (Villain) when it comes to sneaking around but he’s our best player in water stages. He focuses on playing the objectives in these cases. Denying them the objective or going after theirs. We should still keep him as a Support but Specialist in water stages definitely work as a fallback strategy.
Support Loadout

Setzen Bio-Armor (Balanced Frame)

Combat Drone |
Secondary |
Support Drone |
Unique 1 |
Shield Drone |
Unique 2 |
Regen Field |
Coaches Notes: Jey knows how to work the Setzen Support class like no other player on Moon Fox. Most players avoid using such a Drone heavy playstyle but Jey makes it worse. Being able to juggle healing, shielding, and providing supportive fire. It’s a very high risk, high reward style that relies on his Drones survival while he remains largely unable to defend himself. It’s nerve-racking but I’m confident in Jey’s skills to maintain focus on his Drone order and usage.

Coaches Notes: Naturally, Jey relies only on the Support hero selections. More often than note, he goes with So-So and makes the team an unending series of shields. Although he has been known to hold back on using the Heroes in light of the default Supports.
